Medical Law Group Seminar: February 2012
9 February 2012, Royal College of Surgeons, London
At this seminar, hosted by Chambers' Medical Law specialists and chaired by Jane Mishcon (Head of the Medical Law Group), Hailsham's clients heard from two of the set's senior QCs:
Martin Spencer QC spoke on Legal Aid Funding Issues, providing a valuable update on the status of the legal aid reforms and some interesting insights into the likely effects of the changes.
David Pittaway QC's Full Recovery - Just and Fair? considered the issues on causation and quantification he encountered in the case of Ingram v Williams [2010] EWHC 758 QB 13/4/2010.
