Derek acts primarily for claimants, and has considerable experience of, in particular, cerebral palsy claims. Other recent cases include issues arising from mishandled spinal surgery; undiagnosed meningococcal septicaemia; a wrongful birth; and a failure properly to manage a mentally ill patient.
