David Juckes

David Juckes

David joined Hailsham Chambers in October 2010 on successful completion of pupillage and is now developing a broad practice including clinical negligence, professional discipline and personal injury. He has been instructed on inquests, small claims and fast-track trials, interim applications, and interim orders panels before the NMC. He drafts pleadings in personal injury, clinical negligence and professional negligence disputes, and has also advised on matters of professional indemnity.

As a pupil, David saw professional negligence work with Spike Charlwood, clinical negligence and Court of Protection work with Jane Tracy Forster and clinical negligence and costs work with Alexander Hutton. He assisted with four High Court trials and a four-day inquest involving nursing care. Prior to coming to Chambers, David spent over a year working for one of the UK's leading medical defence organisations as a paralegal.
