Michael Kilbey

Michael Kilbey comes from a family who have traditionally clerked barristers' chambers. He joined Hailsham Chambers, then known as 4 Paper Buildings, as First Junior Clerk in 1982 — when Stephen Smith had just become Senior Clerk. Stephen and Michael have seen chambers expand and develop beyond recognition since that time.
Michael is a vital member of the clerking team, giving total support to Stephen in his aim to provide an efficient and friendly service.
Michael is responsible for much of the administration in the clerks' room and for our information technology services. He is a member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks.
