Bernard has experience of dealing with commercial fraud; substantial disputes in relation to contracts inter alia for sale, hire and carriage; and the use and application of pre-emptive measures. He has acted for newspapers in jury trials in the defence of allegations of defamation (Pedder & Dummer v Associated Newspapers: and Bates v Associated Newspapers).
