Professional negligence
Anthony acts for both Claimants and Defendants in a wide variety of professional negligence claims. Claims against solicitors include claims for mismanagement of litigation, negligent advice and drafting in relation to property and other commercial transactions including shares sales and acquisitions. Claims against accountants and other financial advisers, including stockbrokers, include claims for negligent tax advice, due diligence work, audit work, and negligence investment advice in relation to both pensions and pension funds. Claims against insurance brokers include claims for failure to arrange appropriate insurance and failure to draw insured's attention to special terms of policies in particular exclusion clauses. Claims against surveyors and valuers include claims for negligent surveys and valuations of both domestic and commercial properties.
He has also advised both insured and underwriters on issues arising under policies especially construction and notification issues.
He has acted for and advised many entertainers and sportsmen in relation to contracts, including on restraint of trade issues, and intellectual property rights.
